There's a fun concept on blogs called "tagging." Tagging is like those chain letters when you were a kid (or don't have a spam filter on your e-mail), but more fun. You pass along something specific about yourself, then call out (publicly of course), some people you know.
Well, I'm a popular target for tagging. Must be because I'm hard to miss in a crowd? I'm always happy to play along. So thanks Goddess in the Groove for giving me a fun way to start my day. I also owe my sister-in-law (and jewelry designer) from her last tag, so this is a 2-for-1.
So... today we have 7 facts about myself. I'm a pretty open book, so stop me if you've heard this one before. Being such a visual person, I thought I'd add some pretty pictures to also entertain you!
1) I genuinely enjoy teaching art to children
2) I miss smoking. If it wasn't expensive, killed you, turned your teeth yellow and stunk, I'd still do it. If only life were really like an I Love Lucy episode!
3) I have 2 dogs. Snack (the yellow lab mix) and Sweetie (the brindle whippet mix).
They are both a pain in their own way, but I love them dearly.
4) I wish Elizabeth Taylor was my mother (or grandmother). Then I could have all her beautiful jewelry when she dies. I love it when my friend Melody (of Handmade Luck) calls me Liz Taylor (she thinks I look like her... I WISH!)
5) I LOVE Great White Sharks!
I wish I could be one so I could eat stupid surfers who swam in my ocean just like Jaws.
Though how that would work with Liz Taylor being my mother, I'm not really sure.
Next life maybe?
6) Scarlet O'Hara was my idol growing up. I wanted to be just like her with men wrapped around my finger. Oh Scarlet! You temptress hussy you!
7) I think the story of Johnny Cash and June Carter
is one of the most romantic love stories of all time.
8) There were only supposed to be 7, but I threw in a bonus for you (if you're still reading). I LOVE Disneyland! The Haunted Mansion is my favorite ride. We always have to ride it first thing when we go. We hop the little train straight to New Orleans Square; then it's the Haunted Mansion first, then the Pirates of the Caribbean.

I think you resemble Elizabeth :). The pictures are great, you are so creative. We went to Disney the first time with the kids last Summer, and I think dh and I, well we enjoyed it more than the kids :)....the Haunted Mansion was cool, but it freaked my daredevils out totally. Strange, they both ride the scariest coasters, but the visual effects had them spooked.
